Ọnụkwube Alex Alfred Anedo specializes in SINO/AFRO cultures and lectures at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Nigeria. He has also taught at Amanasa Primary School, Igbariam; Metropolitan College, Onitsha; Alvan Ikoku College of Education, Owerri and Nwafor Orizu College of Education, Nsugbe all in Nigeria.

He holds the following University degrees: Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in African Culture & Civilization; Master Degree. (M.A.) in African Culture & Civilization; Master Degree in Chinese Culture & Anthropology (M.A.Chinese Phil); Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A.Ed.) in Education, Igbo & Linguistics; Nigerian Certificate in Education (N.C.E), in Igbo & Religious Studies, and Ordinary National Diploma, (OND) in Chinese studies, He studied at the following Institutions of higher learning: Anambra State College of Education, Awka (ASCEA), Nigeria; University of Nigerian, Nsukka (UNN), Nigeria; Nnamdi Azikiwe University (NAU), Awka, Nigeria, & Xiamen University (XIADA), Xiamen, Fujian Province, People's Republic of China.
He has written over sixty Journal articles and books some of which are "Afa": The Mouth-Piece of the Unseen; The Impact of Guanxi on the Industrial Growth of China (all published in Germany), Ekwutosị, Agwọ na Ihe O Loro, Ọkụkọ Nyụọ Ahụrụ & Ndehie N'ide Asụsụ Igbo. Ọnụkwube Anedo is the founder and chairman of Igbo Scholars Forum and Editor-in-chief of The Ideal International Journal, Ekwe International Journal & Igboscholars International Journal.His interest is in the collection and preservation of African (Igbo) medical herbs, barks & roots.
